The Dog Inn
The Dog Inn

There were American camps nearby in Chorley, Euxton and Bamber Bridge. The Americans were often seen in Brindle driving around on Jeeps and many GI’s frequented the Dog Inn on Chorley Old Road (during the War it was in Brindle; it is now in Whittle-le-Woods). Invariably they would be with their girlfriends.
