The site Author, Steve Williams,
first trip to a battlefield was
in 1992 taking his father back to
the Dunkirk beaches in France –
52 years on. It was another ten
years before he visited the Ypres
Salient battlefield in search of
graves of Brindlers who died in
the First World War. Since then
he has visited WW1 and WW2 battlefields
in France, Belgium and Turkey on
numerous occasions.
Here are a few of his experiences,
both personal and coach trips he
has organised and led.
